Iván González – Garzón, a PhD graduate student in the T3 program, developed the Ecological Integrity Index, which uses Earth Observations to identify spatial and temporal trends in ecosystems across Colombia. GEO and Google Earth Engine chose the Ecological Integrity Index as one of 32 new projects to support in 2020.
