SICCS researchers funded to study evapotranspiration in semiarid ecosystems

Assistant Research Professor Kimberly Samuels-Crow along with co-PI Professor Kiona Ogle and colleagues at the University of New Mexico (Dr. Marcy Litvak) and USGS (Dr. John Bradford) recently received funding from NSF to study evapotranspiration across six semiarid ecosystem types. The study, entitled “Collaborative Research: Ecohydrological controls on evapotranspiration across a semiarid elevation gradient” will bring $700,000 to the three institutions over the three-year life of the project ($496,555 to NAU).
