Mihaljevic receives NSF grant to understand effects of climate and disease on species vulnerability

Climate change and infectious disease can simultaneously threaten the stability of wildlife species, especially ectothermic species whose immune responses vary with their external environment. Mihaljevic and team will conduct experiments, make observations in the field, and test mathematical models to better understand how an amphibian-virus might impact salamander population stability now and under future conditions.
