Jessica Guo, recipient of NAU’s 2019 Award for Most Promising Graduate Student, successfully defended her dissertation (“Hydraulic Regulation and Carbohydrate Dynamics in a Common Desert Shrub (Larrea tridentata)”) on April 24. She will be starting a postdoctoral researcher appointment at the University of Utah this summer. Congratulations, Dr. Guo!
